On October 16, the NetLS IT company team had a great opportunity to participate in the university-wide event “Step to Career”, held in the main hall of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (IFNTUNG). This forum, organized by the University Student Union, became a platform for open dialogue between students, faculty, and representatives of leading companies.
We had the chance to talk with fourth-year students of the Economics program, including Ulyana Bohdanivna Berezhnytska, Head of the Applied Economics Department, and Ihor Vasylovych Andriychuk, Associate Professor of the department. It was especially pleasant to meet students from the Software Engineering Department, as well as those studying Project Management and Marketing. Conversations with faculty and student union representatives added even more significance to the event.
The “Step to Career” forum gathered more than 20 stakeholders — companies and organizations already cooperating with the university and interested in hiring young professionals. It was a great opportunity for students to learn about current job openings, meet employers, and receive valuable career advice.
We were impressed by the students’ activity and interest. The discussions that followed our presentations were lively and constructive. We were happy to share our experience and knowledge, as well as talk about the opportunities offered by NetLS, including free internships, which annually open doors for talented students.
Vladyslav Medvid, a fourth-year student of the Business Economics program, shared his expectations from the fair:
“I might find my future workplace since many companies are gathered here and they are interested in students. I may even work while studying because there is an opportunity for dual education. It’s great to gain some experience.”
We express our gratitude to IFNTUNG for the invitation and the opportunity to communicate with young people who strive for knowledge and development. Thank you to all participants for your activity and interesting questions! We look forward to new meetings and future cooperation!
