NetLS Software Development cooperates with three of the best universities in Ivano-Frankivsk and participates in the development of future developers of our city. The company supports students doing an internship to learn about modern IT and determine which areas are doing well.
In July 2024, 11 students from the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas took the initiative to intern at our company, the main topic of which was artificial intelligence.
To familiarize them with the company, we organized a meeting with the owner of the company, Liubomyr Ruchenchyn. During the conversation over snacks and drinks, they listened to interesting stories and received answers from an expert in their field. He told the interns about NetLS's achievements, first clients, and the industries in which we have been developing throughout our existence. He also noted that NetLS is a member of the IT cluster in Ivano-Frankivsk and is constantly involved in work, charity, and educational events.
After providing a brief overview of the company's history and goals, the CEO explained the main purpose of the internship. It involves a four-week self-study that begins with two weeks of lectures. The first lecture block will provide students with information on image recognition by artificial intelligence, data management methods, AI technologies in healthcare, and the use of no-code programming. The second block describes how the modern large language model (LLM) is changing the RAG world, demonstrates the construction of platforms for Data Engineering and Data Science in the enterprise, and provides examples of artificial intelligence imperfections.
The main goals of this process are to demonstrate what modern programming is and to understand the necessary areas of development. Another key advantage of the internship is the demonstration of the real technical environment, its examples, and needs in the modern market. Olga Yatsiuk, HR Generalist at NetLS, joined the conversation to tell us more about how the market has changed to this day and how it will change in the near future.
After completing lectures and inspanidual assignments, interns will be able to find answers to their previous questions and formulate new, clearly defined ones on their own. Also, if any of them want to gain more practical knowledge, they can be selected for our three-month free internship and develop more in their field. In this way, we help academically strong people develop their knowledge and skills in programming and get qualified employees and colleagues. This contributes not only to the enrichment of the local IT community but also to the sustainability of our services such as TEAM AUGMENTATION and DEDICATED TEAM.
