NetLS continues supporting Talent Development and Training: +1 Lecture for PNU Students

On October 25, 2023, NetLS delivered an open lecture at the V. Stefanyk Precarpathian National University as part of the program in cooperation with regional higher education institutions to support students in their professional growth.

The lecturer at the event, titled "Differences between product and outsourcing companies in the IT sector," was NetLS CEO Liubomyr Ruchenchyn. Participants were immersed in the flow of the processes in product and outsourcing companies at different development stages, the creation and financing of startups, and the formation and development of Ukrainian and foreign markets. Together, we analyzed what is behind various abbreviations such as "NDA", "SaaP", and "ICP", and even analyzed the concepts of unit economics and SaaS metrics. The main goal of the speech was to convey that there is a wide range of opportunities in Ukraine for the advancement of the IT industry now and in the post-war period.

Liubomyr Ruchenchyn, CEO of NetLS: "Depending on their ambitions and outlook, students have the opportunity to make a life-long strategy and choose the right type of company they’ll rely on:

  • Some people are ready to "live in poverty" for three years until the startup grows to an alpha-stage;
  • Some are not ready to endure this and join outsourcing companies, where they will get lost in the processes (large companies with a matrix structure);
  • Some seek intensive training, speed tasks, and mentoring in an agency or company that is not matrixed;
  • Some people prefer a matrix company with three branches, which opens a BizDev department abroad, where the salary level is 20% higher compared to the market, with the possibility of taking a managerial position (TeamLead, TechLead, Architect, etc.)

All options make sense."

After the event, students also had the opportunity to talk to Liubomyr Ruchenchyn, find out answers to questions that are difficult to get during classroom training, and get personal consultations.

NetLS strives to continuously improve the talent development ecosystem and involve its experts in the educational process, helping young professionals overcome new challenges and reach their goals.
