On 16 November 2023, as part of NetLS' partnership with Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, our employees Olga Yatsiuk — HR Manager, and Kostiantyn Ketskalo — Middle Full-Stack .NET Developer, met with students of the Software Engineering specialty and gave a lecture on "Code and Creativity: Interesting Stories from the Life of a C# Programmer".
Konstantin shared his extensive experience in IT and spoke about the fascinating world of C# technology, various aspects of programming, desktop and mobile applications, automated tests that can be created using C#, and life hacks for evaluating software development projects.
Olha spoke about market trends and employment prospects, emphasizing that we are open to cooperation and are always ready to provide students with the opportunity to gain practical experience and implement their ideas in the IT field.
During the Q&A session, students were interested in project management methodologies, the necessary soft skills, and the level of English language proficiency for a successful start in this field.
The meeting was held in an extremely warm and friendly atmosphere. We recognize the importance of such events for opening up the opportunities of the IT sector to young professionals and are already planning the next ones.
